COACHELLA, CA — Authorities seized a trove of drugs and arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with the burglary of a cannabis manufacturing company in Coachella, sheriff’s officials said Saturday.
The burglary occurred on Aug. 17.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies executed a search warrant Friday at two residences and one business, located in the 52300 block of Avenida Obregon in La Quinta, the 40300 block of Washington Street in Bermuda Dunes, and the 83300 block of Highway 111 in Indio.

During the search, they allegedly found 38 pounds of marijuana rolled into 3,815 cigarettes, 39 grams of methamphetamine, one pound of processed marijuana, a mason jar of honey oil cannabis and items indicative of narcotic sales.
Authorities said they also found a stolen vehicle used to commit the burglary.

James Obrien of La Quinta was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of cannabis for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of a fake federal identification card, vehicle theft and committing a felony while out on bail.
