Press release from Cooperation Humboldt:
Cooperation Humboldt (https://cooperationhumboldt.com/) is partnering with the Center for the Study of Cannabis and Social Policy (http://cannabisandsocialpolicy.org/litproject/), a nonprofit action-research think tank focused on research and popular education based at Humboldt State University to form a Cooperative Cannabis Economy Group.
The goals of the Cooperative Cannabis Economy Group are to facilitate cooperation and cooperative research and decision-making among cannabis farmers to protect the local cannabis economy from practices of mega-corporations, and to promote regenerative, values-driven cannabis businesses.
Cooperation Humboldt is sending a survey to cannabis cultivators on the North Coast of California to ask what services would be of value to them. The survey is accessible via QR code displayed on flyers throughout the North Coast, or by going to https://bit.ly/chcannasurvey.
An initial analysis will be published on September 1, 2021 and willing participants will be contacted for follow-up discussions. For more information, please see https://cooperationhumboldt.com/cooperative-cannabis-economy-group/.
Cooperation Humboldt is helping to build a solidarity economy on California’s North Coast by empowering residents to meet their collective needs in harmony with nature, without exploiting anyone.
